Helping every school leaver find their direction.
We built RooKi because starting your career shouldn't depend on who you know or where you went to school.
Career clarity for every Australian school leaver.
RooKi exists to close the gap between finishing school and starting a real career. We give Australian students the tools, guidance and connections they need to take their first step, free always.
Too many school leavers don't know where to start.
Career advisors are stretched thin. Recruitment agencies charge thousands. Job boards weren't built for people with no work history. School leavers are left guessing, and too many end up in the wrong role, or no role at all.
Built from lived experience.
RooKi came from seeing just how many students are left trying to figure out what comes next after school.
Over the years, Prudence was often asked to help with resumes, job applications, interviews and career decisions. Parents were asking for advice for their children, students were asking for help, and it became clear that there was a real need for somewhere they could go to get practical help and explore their options.
As a mum of two daughters, Prudence has also seen first hand that there is no single path to a successful career. What works for one student won't necessarily work for another.
RooKi was created to give students a place to start. A place to discover what suits them, explore different career and study options, build the skills they need and take their next step with confidence.
